All posters must be no larger than 3’ tall x 5’ wide (2.743m x 4.572m).

However you may use any size smaller, i.e. A0 paper size, 841m x 1189m (or 2’9 x 3’11)

Abstract Upload Process

ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED

Please be sure to review the Abstract Instructions regarding formatting.  You must create an account and be logged in, then follow these steps to upload your Abstract document.

  1. On your computer, rename your file Title to include your "LastName_FirstName_SomeUniqueTitle" (Title can only include English characters)
  2. Log in to this web site (on the left).  If you have not already done so, you will need to "Create an Account".
  3. Once logged in, you should now see a "User Menu" (also on the left). Click "Submit an Abstract"
  4. Click "Next" to upload your Word document (.doc. or .docx) directly from your computer
  5. Browse for your file and click Upload. (Please be sure your Abstract is one (1) full page or less)
  6. You can ignore all the various options as they are set to our defaults.  Click the Green Checkbox to save your document to the systemVideoTutorial-02

Your document will be uploaded and we will be automatically notified of your submission.

Deadline for Abstracts: (further extended to April 15th, 2010)

The deadline for submitting abstracts for invited lecturers and posters is now April, 15th, 2010. All abstracts must be submitted online by this deadline. For further questions regarding your abstract submission, please contact the conference administrators.

We welcome any
suggestions or comments you may wish to convey at any time and urge you and all your colleagues interested in our favorite molecule to reserve June 6-11, 2010 for the "8th International Conference on Hyaluronan".

Instructions for Submitting Abstracts:

Abstracts cannot exceed  ONE (1) full page.

Please only use English characters, and Abstract content must be in English.

(When creating your Abstract documents, please use the following font and size, so that the book of Abstracts is uniform; Times New Roman, font size 12.)

Each abstract should be written in clear, concise English and entered on the website into the Abstract Submission Form along with the requested ancillary information. The format should correspond to that of this sample abstract. The maximum size of your abstract is one (1) page and will be determined by the dimensions of the abstract box after the title, authors, and affiliations are compiled at the top of the box from the information you provide.

Your Abstract should include title, author(s) name, and the affiliations, addresses and email address of principal author. References should be indicated in the text (1,2,3) and be listed consecutively at the end of the abstract as a new paragraph, following the format below.

Individual paragraphs should be indicated by ONE hard return (Enter Key). After you submit, a compiled abstract will be prepared immediately and shown to you for proofreading.

Abstracts are required from all session speakers and poster presentations. Each will be printed on a single page in the Conference Program Book. Thus, it is important that the instructions be followed so that the format in the final Program will be as uniform as possible.
